What is medication management?
At Health Services of North Texas (HSNT), we strongly believe that medication is key to staying healthy. Medication management is a service we offer to patients who are high-risk for not getting the medication they need to stay well. Our medication management teams at HSNT in Denton, Wylie, and Plano, TX can provide services to improve our patients' quality of life and help prevent medication mistakes that are unsafe. This may include:
- Individuals who do not have a great track record for taking one or multiple medications the right way
- Parents or caregivers who have a loved one needing medication management
- Families overwhelmed by taking care of a family member who requires many medications
- Individuals (young and old) who are on psychiatric medications

Medication Management Reviews
"Went in for a counseling session with Kayla. As this could’ve gone one of two ways considering each persons personal tribulations. This was what I needed in helping me overcome whatever internal conflict I am having. Although this was my first session, it was nice to have an outlet for expressing my concerns and my feelings. I felt comforted in my experiences and what’s to come."- R.P. / Facebook / Sep 06, 2019

Medication management is a personalized service based on your level of need. Centered on your health and overall well-being, our medication managers will be instructed by our prescribing physicians on when, how, and how often medication needs to be taken. Our team can also communicate when medications are not working efficiently, the side effects are too overpowering, or if a doctor visit may be needed.
